A single continuous stay in the Mainland generally must not exceed 90 days, and the cumulative stay in the Mainland within a year must not exceed 180 days (subject to the limits specified on the approval card). You must return to Hong Kong or Macau to reset the stay duration before the limit expires; overstaying will trigger risk control measures and prevent the renewal of the approval card.
